Find out what you can do when you visit Height Gate
About Our Activities
Height Gate has ample space in which you can do many activities, such as rounders, wide games and indoor play in our barn space. We are also situated on the South Pennines close to the Pennine Way and lots of good walking and mountain biking routes. The towns of Hebden Bridge and Todmorden are in close proximity with many amenities and attractions. The village of Heptonstall is just above Hebden Bridge and is the resting place of Sylvia Plath and also ‘King’ David Hartley, the leader of the Crag Vale Coiners.
We can supply local practitioners to lead activities for your stay. These specialise in art workshops, bushcraft, outdoor learning, physical theatre and clowning. If you have any other ideas for activities we are happy to work with you to help arrange and coordinate.
